Dutch gymnast Eythora Thorsdottir, 20, who missed this year European championships due to an injury, will be back in competition next week. She is going to be part of the 35th Arturo Gander Memorial, to be held on November 14th at Chiasso, Switzerland. This is the first time she is competing since Heerenveen Friendly, a meet between Japan, Netherlands, Great Britain and Belgium where she finished seventh in the all-around and took the silver medal on team final.

At the last edition of Arturo Gander competition, she finished in second, behind Russian Angelina Melnikova, and ahead Venezuelan Jessica Lopez. On this occasion, she did not perform the vault she was planning to, a double twist yurchenko, which made her score lower than she was expecting - ending up her chances to get the gold medal.
